When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.
I spent several months on the island of Nevis during the winter of 2016 / 2017. This was not one of my typical journies, but an escape from the madness so that I could focus on my new novel, The Latter Half of Inglorious Years. I made great progress on the novel, and also discovered a beautiful place. Below is a slide show of that experience.
